| 内容記述 | A Japanese form of the scale for intercultural effectiveness (Walter et al., 1995) with 2 subscales, interpersonal relationship and intercultural adaptability, by 10 items each was constructed through I-T correlational analysis. The α-coefficients and retest-reliabilities of those subscales were quite enough for practical use. High school students of foreign language major showed high intercultural adaptability score than other students. The high validities were found through examining the correlations between this form and International Understanding Scale (Suzuki et al., 2000), KG-Survey of Personal Values (Gordon & Kikuchi, 1975), KA-Scale of Self-Conscious Affect (Kikuchi & Arimitsu, 2006), Scale of Group Identification (Karasawa, 1991), and Collectivism Scale (Yamaguchi et al., 1995). | |||||
