| 内容記述 | がんの予防を啓発する取り組みとして,がん予防に関する健康講話を開催した.本研究では,健康講話を受講した地域住民が,がんを予防するために今後の生活に役立てられる内容やより詳しく知りたい内容を明らかにし,住民のニーズに合わせたがん予防教育の検討を目的とした. 分析対象者は,健康講話終了後の質問紙調査により回答を得られた子育て中の母親34名,一般住民30名,高齢者23名である.どの対象者群からも今後役立てられる内容として『がんの発生機序・要因』『体の理解』『食事』『検診の受診』が挙げられた.より詳しく知りたい内容は,子育て中の母親は『女性のがん』『女性の体の変化』『がんの予防』『がんの遺伝』,一般住民は『電磁波』『食事』『がんになった場合のこと』,高齢者は『前立腺のこと』『最新の治療法』であった. 体の構造やがんの発生機序を理解することでがんを身近に捉え,予防への関心につながること,また性別や年代、家族内の役割などにより,詳しく知りたい内容が異なることが明らかとなった.よって住民の背景やニーズを把握した上で,がんは身近なもので予防が可能であることを積極的に啓発していく必要があると考える. | |||||

| 内容記述 | In order to help improve cancer prevention, we held a lecture on cancer prevention for local residents. This study aims to clarify the type of information that the participants would utilize and want to know in detail to prevent cancer in their future lives, and to examine cancer preventive education that would suit the needs of local residents. The subjects were 34 mothers raising children, 30 general residents, and 23 elderly people, all of whom completed a questionnaire after the health lecture. All subject groups indicated "mechanism and factors of cancer development," "understanding body systems," "diets," and "taking screenings" as the information that could be utilized in the future. As the information that participants wanted to have in detail, mothers raising children indicated "cancer in women," "change in female body," "cancer prevention," and "inheritance of cancer" ; general residents indicated "electromagnetic waves" and "what happens when you get cancer" ; and elderly people indicated "about prostate" and "state-of-the-art treatment". This study revealed that understanding the body systems and mechanism of cancer development leads one to view cancer as a personal issue and to have an interest in prevention and that the information one wants to have in detail differs depending on gender, age, and the role in a family. Therefore, for cancer prevention education, it is necessary to understand the background and needs of residents and to actively increase the awareness that cancer is a personal issue and can be prevented. | |||||
