| 内容記述 | 東日本大震災によって引き起こされた津波や地盤沈下によって、岩手県の沿岸域は甚大な被害を受け、海岸部の砂浜植生や防潮林も多大な影響を受けた.震災から3 年が経つが、砂浜など沿岸部の自然環境の保全について議論されることは、一部を除けばほとんど見られない.そこで震災前後の空中写真を利用して、砂浜の形状変化を確認し、砂浜の植物相調査を行って保全上重要である砂浜を抽出するとともに、復旧工事の際の保全対策について検討を行った.その結果、現在、岩手県内では北部に砂浜面積、幅とも大きな砂浜が散在しているが、南部には確認されず震災後面積が減少した砂浜が存在することがわかった.次に、海浜性植物の保全や生態系のつながりに着目し、多くの海浜性植物を含む大面積が残存している砂浜、小面積であっても海浜性植物が多い砂浜、海-砂浜-内陸の連続性がある海岸の3 点に着目し、保全上重要であると考えられるものを抽出した.そのうち、復旧工事によって何らかの影響を受けると考えられる9 か所の海岸について、保全エリアや工事にあたっての保全方法などを現地の実態に則して検討した. | |||||

| 内容記述 | Iwate Prefecture's coastal zone suffered heavy damage because of the Tohoku region Pacific coast earthquake disaster and subsequent tsunami of March 11, 2011, with beach vegetation and coastal forests being severely disturbed. Here we briefly report on the protection of beach flora on important sandy beaches, and examine environmental conservation measures for those beaches. Our study observed the changes in beaches using aerial photos taken before and after the tsunami, and investigated beach flora. It found that Iwate Prefecture's large natural seashores and beaches are in the north only, and some of the beach of southern Iwate Prefecture reduced the width and area by earthquake. We chose three types of beaches to be protected for their importance: 1) large beaches with many beach species, 2)small beaches with many beach species, and 3) beaches with sea-land ecotones. Nine beaches affected by construction are among the beaches to be protected for their importance. In conclusion, we suggest conservation areas and environmental conservation measures for those nine beaches. | |||||
