| 内容記述 | A看護師養成所では、東日本大震災の被災地である県北沿岸部の野田村に災害ボランティアを実施した。看護師養成所という専門性を活かしたボランティアをすることは、被災者支援という災害ボランティアの機会を、一つの効果的な災害看護教育となり得るのではないかと考えた。災害ボランティア終了後の学生の学びについてアンケートを内容分析した結果、【不安と緊張】【戸惑い】【スキルの活用】【カタルシス】【現場からの学び】【被災者に対する学生の想い】【心のケア】【ボランティアの意義】【生きる力】【自己効力感】の10のカテゴリーが導出された。学生は被災者支援について具体的な方法まで考え記述していた。それは学生が災害看護を履修済みであることに加え、実習での経験を積み重ねたことにより看護師の視点で災害ボランティアに臨んでいた結果と考える。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Located on the northern coast of Iwate Prefecture, the Village of Noda was struck by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and Nursing School A provided disaster volunteers to the village. Serving as a disaster volunteer (i.e. disaster relief) and drawing on one's expertise )i.e. having attended nursing school) can serve as an effective form of disaster nursing training. Students were surveyed regarding their insights after they served as disaster volunteers, and their responses were subjected to content analysis. That analysis identified 10 categories: Anxiety and stress, Confusion, Use of one's skills, Catharsis, Insights from firsthand experience, Thoughts about disaster victims, Mental care, The value of volunteering, The strength to keep on living, and Self-efficacy. Students described specific ways they provided disaster relief. Their responses signaled that students had completed disaster nursing. They also indicated that students had, through their experience gained in actual practice, served as disaster volunteers from a nursing perspective. | |||||
