It is something schools provide and teachers show to students. However it is closely related to self-learning, and process of learning is an important element of education. While discipline and training give an image of passive and formal action, self-learning is a simple word that connects active and casual images. The words "discipline" and "training" are generally used in the encouragement of talent in social welfare, based on the moral creed "Obligation of self-discipline".
