内容記述 | The purposes of this study are to investigate the changing eating habits and to gain fundamental know ledge for better guidance of eating habits of middle-aged agricultural women. The subjects are middle-aged and aged women residing in a farming village. They were classified into three groups according to age as follows ; 41-50 years old (N=212), 51-60 years (N=306) and 61 and older (N=269). A comparison of food groups intake frequencies between the three groups in the present and twenty years ago was preformed. The frequencies of intake between the women's present eating habits and thoses of twenty years ago were also compared. The food intake frequencies reported "at present" between the three groups were compared. The percentages of "I eat everyday" answers in the food groups of miso soup, other vegetables, green and yellow vegetables and milk were higher in the older subjects. On the contray, the food groups of meat, dairy products and confectioneries showed a higher intake percentage in the younger subjects. The food intake frequencies reported by the subjects at "about twenty years old" showed a higher percentage of intake than "at present" even though the percentage of "eat it everyday" was lower than the "at present". The percentage of "I eat it everyday" responses tended to show an increase in mostfood groups for the older age groups. When a chage in the food intake frequency of "about twenty yesrs old" is compared with "at present", the "I eat it everyday" responses in most food groups for all age groups. However, the intake frequency "at present" was lower than the "about twenty yesrs old". For potatoes and pickles in the over 60 age group. | |||||
