| 内容記述 | The development of information technology has made the ways of getting knowledge diversified. Methods and philosophies of general education in universities will be affected by this change. Further development of information technology will produce much different styles of learning to universities. Based on this thought, this paper explored the meaning of diversification of knowledge acquisition phenomena to consider the aspects of the coming change in general education. The results of experimental use of on-line basis education in Iwate Prefectural University were examined. Students' motivations to study become more decisive in education. In the future, at the level of general education in universities, the three following points will be highly emphasized : 1) To let students gain objective views, 2) habitual attitudes of self-learning, 3) learning history for understandings. Practical exercises are of much use in general education. | |||||
