| 内容記述 | The climate of Tohoku District in winter belongs to the intense cold. Above all, in Iwate Prefecture, both an inland area and a seaside area exist and the lives of the people are much influenced by various aspects of nature. The indoor climate in Iwate in winter is now changing because of the introduction of the air-tightened and highly insulated houses and the air-conditioners or new types of heating systems with high heating efficiency. But the clothing environment considered to be comfortable under the existing circumstances is not necessarily proper for the air-tightened and highly insulated houses. In this new indoor climate, people have to be more lightly dressed in winter and to wear more in summer than before. Thus a lot of improvements are necessary. In this study t in order to clarify what relation the living environment has to the clothing environment, the living and clothing environment for a comfortable winter life was investigated. As a result, it became clear that when Clo value is high and the amount of the clothes is large, the amount of perspiration becomes large even if the temperature and the humidity indoors and those of the clothing are both adequate. If the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors is lessened to avoid coldness, the wasteful heat radiation will be reduced. But wearing more clothes heightens the temperature and the humidity inside the clothes and perspiration absorbed in the clothes in winter will prevent body heat from radiating and the regulation of body temperature might be unbalanced. To ensure the comfortable clothing environment, mechanical ventilation is needed in the kitchen where cooking raises the temperature and the humidity indoors, and when body heat generation involved in housework increases or the rising of indoor temperature and humidity causes perspiration, to utilize natural ventilation is recommended. | |||||
