| 内容記述 | This paper discusses the formation and the development of the Women's Club movement, focucing on the activities of the Generel Federation of Women's Club. The relationship of the GFWC and woman suffrage is the main theme of this paper. The associationism and the progressive impulse pushed women to join GFWC. It is a ready-made constituency, since existing clubs lost none their autonomy. In addition, GFWC's reform work was a typical response to the progressivism. | |||||
