| 内容記述 | 宮沢賢治の「ロマンツエロ」は、老人が毘沙門天から鏑矢を賜ったと感動している様子が詠われている。従来、題名が相応しくない、毘沙門天は弓矢を持たない、宗教的内容らしいが何を意味するか不明、など謎の多い詩とされていた。しかし実は「ロマンツエロ」はハイネに倣って譚詩集を意味し、その詩集に収めるつもりの無題の詩であったし、毘沙門天が弓矢を持つ例もあるので不自然ではない、など謎は解明できた。最大の謎であったこの詩のテーマは、前半生では戦いの悪業を重ねた藤原清衡が老境に入って、平和な時代を迎え敵味方その他万物の供養を行おうとの仏心を起こし、毘沙門天から鏑矢を賜り、仏國土を創って償うよう命じられた、というものであった。達谷窟の毘沙門天が清衡に宗教都市平泉の建設と中尊寺の建立を発意させた、という賢治流の縁起物語の詩なのであった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Kenji Miyazawa's poem "Romanzero" tells of an elderly person moved by the honor of receiving a whistling arrow from the Buddhist deity Vais^'ravan a (Bishamonten in Japanese). Traditionally, "Romanzero" has been considered a mysterious poem due to, for example, the inappropriate title - Bishamonten does not have a bow and arrows - ; and it seems to have a religious context, but what is meant by that was unknown.However, these mysteries were solved when it was discovered that: 1) "Romanzero" actually originally signified a collection of ballad poems following the work of Heinrich Heine, 2) it was an untitled poem intended to be included in the collection, and 3) it is not unnatural because in some cases Bishamonten did have a bow and arrows.The biggest mystery was the theme of this poem, which was solved when it was found that Fujiwara no Kiyohira, who had committed one misdeed after another on the battlefield in the first half of his life, reached advanced age, found inner peace,and showed mercy by holding Buddhist services for deceased friends, foes, and all things. For this, Bishamonten presented him with a whistling arrow and ordered him to compensate them by creating a Buddhaks__.etra, or Buddha Land. Kenji intended to write his own poem on the history of a holy city, Hiraizumi, and Chusonji Temple.Kenji implied that Takkokunoiwaya Bishamonten inspired Kiyohira to build a holy city, Hiraizumi, and Chusonji Temple. | |||||
