| 内容記述 | 賢治寓話「黒ぶだう」の舞台である公爵別荘のモデルは,1926年に建てられ花巻市街に現存する洋館,菊池捍(きくちまもる)邸であることが明らかにされた(米地・木村,2006)。「黒ぶだう」とその他の賢治作品および菊池捍と彼の周辺の人物や事物を詳細に分析・検討した結果,この寓話は,建物ばかりでなく,建主の花巻出身で北海道清水町の明治製糖工場長であった菊池捍とその義兄佐藤昌介に深く関わるストーリーであることがわかった。「黒ぶだう」のあらましは,次の通りである。赤狐に誘われた仔牛が,留守中のべチュラ公爵別荘に入り,黒ブドウを食べる。狐はブドウの汁を吸って他は吐き出し,仔牛は種まで噛む。公爵一行が帰ってきたので,狐は逃げるが,残された仔牛はリボンを貰う。種まで噛む仔牛の登場は,製糖工場が甜菜を搾って糖液を採り,滓は乳牛の飼料として販売したことと関わる。また,華族を別荘の持ち主にしたのは,捍氏夫人の兄佐藤昌介北大総長が叙爵される時期であったからと考えられる。野生の狐はうまく逃げ,家畜の牛は残って人間との関係を深める,という寓話「黒ぶだう」には,野生動物も家畜もそれぞれが生きてゆける世界,賢治が酪農に期待をこめて描いた北海道と岩手とを重ねる北方的イーハトヴ,など小さな理想郷が見られるのである。「黒ぶだう」の執筆時期は,菊池捍邸完成時期,使用原稿用紙,叙爵時期,チェロの登場,などの諸点に基づいて,1927～1928年と推定した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | It is revealed that the duke's villa, the setting of Kenji's fairy tale "Black Grapes", was modeled on the Residence of Kikuchi Mamoru, a western-style building that was constructed in 1926 and still exists in Hanamaki city (Yonechi and Kimura, 2006). The authors analyzed and reviewed in detail "Black Grapes" and other works of Kenji, Kikuchi Mamoru and the people, events or things that surrounded him. The author found that the story was deeply related to Kikuchi Mamoru, who was the manager of Meiji Seito's sugar factory in Shimizu town, Hokkaido, from where the owner of the Residence came, and his brother-in-law Shosuke Sato. The outline of Black Grapes is as follows. A calf, invited by a red fox, entered the villa of Duke Betula, while he was away, and ate black grapes. The fox sucked the juice of the grapes and spit out the residue, while the calf chewed the grapes, including the seeds. When the duke and his entourage returned home, the fox ran away. The calf was left there, but was given a ribbon. The calf that chewed the grapes and their seeds appears to be related to the fact that a sugar factory squeezed sugar beets to collect sugar juice and sold the residue as fodder for milk cows. In his story, he set a nobleman as the owner of the villa, probably because the brother of Mrs. Yoshi Kikuchi, Shosuke Sato, President of Hokkaido University, was then about to be offered a dukedom. The fairy tale "Black Grapes" telling that the wild fox successfully ran away and that the domesticated calf stayed and deepened the relationship with humans suggests the presence of a small utopian place, such as a world where wild animals and domestic animals can both live, or a northern Ihatov that is an overlap of Iwate with Hokkaido, which was described by Kenji as having a great deal of expectation of a promising dairy industry. The author estimated that Kenji wrote Black Grapes about 1927 or 1928, based on the completion year of Kikuchi's Residence, the type of writing paper used, the timing of the dukedom accolade, and the appearance of a cello. | |||||
