| 内容記述 | 「グリーン・ツーリズム」とは、日本ではあまりなじみのない言葉だったということができよう。しかし、農林水産省が、1992年にいわゆる「新政策」(「新しい食料・農業・農村政策の方向」)を発表し、そのなかで農村地域振興の一方策として「グリーン・ツーリズム」の推進を提唱して以来、「グリーン・ツーリズム」は、多くの農村地域で取り組まれるようになってきている。しかしながら、グリーン・ツーリズムは真に農村地域の振興をもたらしうるのか、もたらしうるとすれば、どのような意味においてなのか。この論文において我々は、岩手県東和町の事例を取り上げて、グリーン・ツーリズムによる農村地域の活性化の可能性を検証することにしたい。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The phrase "green tourism" has not been a very familiar one in Japan. However, in 1992 the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries published a so-called "new policy" ("The new direction of food, agriculture and rural community policy"), promoting "green tourism" as a means of revitalizing rural areas. Since then, "green tourism" has become a project which many local governments have been tackling. However, we would like to know whether "green tourism" can truly bring revitalization of rural areas or not, and if it can, in what sense? In this article, we want to examine the possibility of the revitalization of a rural community by "green tourism" using a case study of Towa Town, Iwate Prefecture. | |||||
