| 内容記述 | コヘインの国際制度論は、ネオリアリズと同じ基本的前提に立ちつつも、ネオリアリズムが描くような戦争と勢力均衡という悲観的な世界ではなく、国家間に協調が成り立ち得ることをあきらかにする国際政治理論である。その理論的背景には、相互主義(コンヴェンション)、合理的機能主義、委譲理論がある。相互主義はゲーム理論の分析を通して理解される。合理的機能主義では、不確実性ならびに情報の非対称性に対処するため、国際制度の果たす役割が強調される。ただ、合理的機能主義では、国家を超越した制度を考えるのが困難であるという、いわゆる「内生の罠」と呼ばれる問題がある。そこで、本稿では、国家と国際機関に限定し、エージェンシー理論の応用により、「内生の罠」の問題に取り組んだ。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Keohane's international institutional theory, standing on the same fundamental premise as neorealism, is an international political theory to make clear that the cooperation world between states may be realized, even though neorealism draws the pessimistic world of war and the balance of power. Keohane uses reciprocity (convention), rational functionalism, and delagation theory to construct such a theory. The reciprocity is understood through analysis of the game theory. In rational functionalism, in order to cope with uncertainty and informational asymmetry, the role which international institutions play is emphasized. However, in rational functionalism, there is a problem so-called "the endogenity trap" : Insofar as the theory of institutional origins and functions is accepted, the independent explanatory power of institutional theory seems to disappear. Then, though limited to states and international organizations, this article approached the problem of "the endogenity trap" by application of agency theory. | |||||
