| 内容記述 | ネオリアリズムとネオリベラル制度主義は、主流の国際関係理論であると言われてきた。しかし、これらの理論は、国際関係の大きな変動である冷戦の終焉を説明することができなかった。この国際関係の変動を説明する理論として注目されているのが、進化論的アプローチである。進化論的アプローチの特徴は、生成のレベルと選択のレベルを区別して論じ、単線的な発展論に陥るのを回避できる点である。本稿ではこの進化論的アプローチのサーヴェイを行うことを目的に、ヘンドリック・スプリュートの主権国家ならびに主権国家システムの進化論的アプローチ、それに、アン・フロリーニとスティーヴン・バーンスタインの規範の進化論的アプローチを検討し、国際変動に関する進化論的アプローチの可能性を模索した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | It has been said that neorealism and neoliberal institutionalism are mainstream International Relations theories. However, such theories were not able to explain the end of the Cold War, which was a serious international system change. Evolutionary approaches are considered as theories of explaining this international system change. The characteristics of evolutionary approaches are to avoid unilinear development theory, such as "from feudalism to the sovereign state," and to distinguish the level of generation and the level of selection. For the purpose of surveying evolutionary approaches in this paper, we examined Hendrik Spruyt's evolutionary approach of the sovereign state and its systems, and Ann Frolini's and Steven Bernstein's evolutionary approaches of norms. The applicability of evolutionary approaches to international system change was analyzed. | |||||
