| 内容記述 | 日米両国の国立公園制度の違いを明らかにし、国立公園における米国人ならびに日本人の行動パターンを比較した。この分析を通して、日米両国民の自然観の違いを明らかにした。その上で、京都議定書の結果に、自然観の違いがどのように影響しているかを明らかにした。自然は管理されるものであるとする米国人の自然観、自然と人間との曖昧な一体感を示す日本人の自然観、これらが京都議定書に対する両国の態度を決定するひとっの要因になっていることが論証された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This article analyzed differences between the national park systems of Japan and the U. S., and compared the patterns of action in the American with those in the Japanese with respect to national parks. Differences in views about nature that Japanese and American citizens hold have been clarified through this analysis. Americans express a view of nature where nature is managed. Japanese cite an ambiguous sense of togetherness between nature and human beings. Results have proved how these differences in views of nature for both groups may have influenced the results of the Kyoto Protocol. | |||||
